Introduction - call centre agent, internal sales and landlord
So much I could say and too much will be too much! I joined here because I have a passion for sales; most of my work has been on the phone but in reality important sales are also done in meetings like interviews and introductory meetings. I have been meaning to launch again a telemarketing company OutboundTelemarketing.Services where businesses can save money by outsourcing their campaign to the Philippines - but managed through the UK. I cringe where too much sales is done badly. Companies hire openly nice people who fall flat in sales because they are too worried in what they project. The people who fail on the phone do as they think about the message they give and their "numbers" rather than the person they should be focused on and how the customer buys into the message. I have worked as an Internal sales person, selling Internet access and some network solutions, hardware and sourced and develop leads for hosting and hosted IT solutions and telecommunications when I worked in London. Currently I working as a call centre agent currently while I manage a property portfolio (better at selling then landlording!). Being in a group with good sales strategies keeps me sane. As I get a grip on my property situations then I will look to evolve myself. But even in small ways, working as an agent I still want to make the most of my sales opportunities and feel I got the best out of my calls. And lastly, having done a lot of canvassing for home improvements myself I know they practice real sales skills. So good Paul can share his knowledge and even keep up todate in today's times where people are saturated with distraction like never before.
