Great dialogue today everyone. Thank you all for participating. Great takeaways.
I somehow manage to pin just myself to to the video (whoops😅).
Here's a handful of the notes I shared today about creating Partnerships...
- Partnerships allow you to extend well beyond your network
- Be a good partner first - always find opps for people in your network first
- Out of sight out of mind - stay on top of your partners, don't drift off
- Take care of the referred - at all costs protect the reputation of the person that referred you business
- Always look for the Win-Win. Think of their "win" first
- Build partnerships with everyone in your supply chain
- It only takes a small handful of great partnerships to click
- Don't ever rely solely upon your partnerships for new business
- The law of reciprocity - when someone does something nice for you, you feel you need to do something nice in exchange, foundational to building strategic partnerships
- It’s ok to pay to play
- Check out - Dunbar’s top 150 ( we can only manage about 150 relationships)
- Everything is a test - always test your partners, ie response time, professionalism, work quality, pricing, etc
Great to meet you new members! 👋
