Looking for info on Vancouver, BC

Hi yall

I'm taking my grandkids, whose mother died in January, on an Alaska cruise in June, that leaves out of Vancouver. I booked a hostel for us to stay in and just got a notice that they won't allow the 17-yr-old to stay there. Any suggestions about a very reasonable clean hotel near Canada Place cruise terminal?

Thanks It's only for 1 night and doesn't have to be fancy.
