It nearly dark. A man walking past started shouting, "Police, call the police." He looked at him walking past. He was alone and there was no evidence of immediate danger. I returned to the couch, but he was still calling out so I go to the back window and peer out. The dome light of my car was on and somebody was climbing out of the driver seat. I had left my car unlocked and somebody thought they might find something to steal out of my car. Then I smiled. There was nothing in my car to steal, except a few copper pennies. I waited 5 minutes, made sure nothing missing and locked the car.
