Let's do this everyone! Our first live Zoom together will be tomorrow at 6:30pm and the calendar link has the details and you will all be notified as well from the system!
We will discuss:
- What we all want from this group!
- How to find AMAZINGLY soft natural light using an open sky
- Kick things off with a bang!
ZOOM details:
(As a little teaser for tomorrow, take a look at these two images. I shot senior photos for my friend Michelle's daughter in MI a few weeks ago (she paid my $5,000 for the shoot by the way), and during the session, some of her friends were over hanging out and wanted me to grab a quick family portrait.
The photo you see of her backyard was at the moment of the portrait, all in the shade (the sun had passed over the yard). If you look to the right of the tent and see the tall, skinny green trees, you will see the background of the final image.
I used those trees as my simple background, turned them TOWARD that big open sky in the behind the scenes shot because the sun was now bouncing OFF of that sky, and pushing that lovely light into the shade.
The sky became a GIANT soft box and gave me the most soft, buttery looking light you can imagine! The photo you see is not even retouched because the light is so soft it LOOKS like it is painted on them!
More to come)!
