I’m calling this “The Great SMS Crackdown Of 2023” Yes, Uncle Sam is about to make it A LOT harder to use SMS to market your med spa. (This applies to US-based clinics only). >> Here are the deets: 1: As of August 31, 2023 ALL unregistered numbers will be blocked from sending out text messages. If you recently signed up with or are using an SMS service, there is a good chance your number has not been registered. 2: Getting a number registered takes 3-6 weeks and can take longer if you don’t do it properly. 3: Once you register your number, you must stay extremely compliant with the messages you send, or your number can get blocked. >> What does this mean for you? 1: If you are planning on working with a marketing company that uses SMS you need to start NOW if you want to be able to send text messages by September. 2: If you already use a company to send out texts, you must register your number ASAP. >> What WE are doing about this: 1: We have a process to ensure your number gets registered as fast as possible when you work with us. 2: We show you how to make your messages are hyper-compliant so you’re sms number is always in good standing. 3: SMS is marketing is NOT going away and is only becoming more popular (if not expected by potential patients.)
