Focus on the process not the result
Whatever your goal is, ideally you want to create a consistent action (habit) or lifestyle that supports the outcome you desire.
For example, if you want to lose weight, the goal isn't to lose 15 pounds (end-state goal), the goal is to eat healthy and exercise daily (process goal).
When you turn your actions into the goal itself, that's when you start to build better habits and see lasting change.
