I feel a little hypocritical writing this given I haven't done a great job of any sort of self-care this week and that will continue today. But maybe, if I could ask you to do me a favour, make a point to practice self-care for yourself today, that you make up for my lack of practicing it for myself!
Today's #SelfCareSuggestion for you is to try at least 10 minutes of Mindful Meditation.
In December of 2022, I spent a week in Mexico at a meditation retreat and even though I had already been an inconsistent practitioner for almost 2 decades before I went, it definitely took my understanding and appreciation for meditation to another level.
Although I still struggle at times to make time for a daily meditation practice, I would never argue the value behind the act.
I have taken the liberty to attach a simple 10 minute meditation from Dr. Joe Dispenza (who put on the meditation retreat in Mexico). Feel free to use your own practice if you'd prefer.
