Anyone out there with a recently purchased set of 1st class books.
I’m curious to know how different it is to my Edition 1.1 specifically Chapter 3 Example 3 question on Required shell thickness and outside diameter. Not sure if I can attach a picture, but if you could state the question and then the formula from the code section used in the solution that would be appreciated.
Mine is a cylindrical vessel P = 69,000 kPa; 610mm ID; S=138 MPa; E=1.0. And required thickness is the variable to be calculated. It’s just for curiosity sake, no need to give solution I just want to see if it’s different. Thanks.
