Thank you for the great online courses, Austin!馃檪
Following your advice about the biggest needle movers, the price being at the top, I took a deeper dive into my Shopify store and GMC and am a bit confused now. Can you please clarify why GMC pulls from Shopify stores the "Compare at Price" instead of the actual advertised price in my Shopify store and serves this (wrong) price in my online ads to the public?
I reached out to Google with this concern and they admit in this letter that this is the normal practice. Attached. I am also attaching all relevent screenshots so you can see. Am I missing something? Is there a way to resolve this in the GMC feed where my admin could maybe just update the real prices we offer in Shopify? Not really sure what more to do as the public is being served the wrong price in this case.
(I know you said to remove from GMC such high-ticket items altogether. I will do so. I just need to understand first why "Compare at Prices" are being offered to the public instead of actual product prices.)
