Swoop in and steal!!!

This is the first time this has ever happened to me:

Listed a nice shirt and had a customer ask a question, then sent an offer. I accepted and it has been awaiting payment. Customer is highly rated on ebay, but it's been about 15 hours. Another customer, highly rated on ebay came in offered $6 more. I accepted, and BOOM! Sale done and paid for. The first guy lost the item. I'm happy!

I knew this would happen on ebay because of how they changed the offer process. I'd heard it happened to other people, but this is a first for me! Has it happened to anyone else? Did the first buyer get angry? Mostly curious!
