We could continue the binary format now or come back to it later. The reason for coming back would be to implement the real-time editing and updating with a limited subset (solid tiles, and a single level, only) and then add more features to our format. Whichever way you guys want is totally fine.

Hey everyone, it seems LDtk has an unrecoverable error that's been reported multiple times this year on GitHub. I don't think there will be a fix any time soon based on the activity (which is fine, it's free software, after all) The error has hit me and I have to roll back the level to `2.23` and will rebuild from there Even though we can load the level fine from our game, the editor crashes Now, I wasn't going to include this, but this experience has been frustrating Would you guys be interested in learning how to build a level editor for this game? It'll be tailored to the game and not general-purpose like LDtk. It will add extra time to the Metroidvania section, of course. Cheers, Dylan
