#1 Messaging Change
First, we changed how they talked about their product in their ads. After looking into why people bought their product, we found out that 85% of the time it was for business or rental use, not personal use. So, we changed all their ads to show how great their product was for businesses and rentals.
#2 Facebook Ads
Next, we noticed they didn’t have a reliable way to get new customers. They were only getting customers through word of mouth. So, we created a plan to use paid ads on Facebook. We made different ads for each state and sent people to a page where they could book a call with the company.
#3 Sales Team Development
Finally, we saw that the company didn’t have a sales team, just the founder selling on their own. Since we were getting a lot of new leads, we started hiring salespeople. We interviewed many people and built a team of 4 sales reps to set up appointments and close deals.
Results
In just a few months, our client’s earnings shot up to $640,000 a month! We spent a lot on ads, but it was worth it because they got more customers than ever before. Plus, our service fees turned into equity in the company, making it our first portfolio business.
