How did y'all signed your first client?

I am new in this but i don't want to waste anymore time now, i will be aiming to signing the first one, in the next 7 days, Like free trial or if possible will try on commission based.

But here i just wanted to ask, how did you guys signed your first one? Model? Offer? And the most important Story, i really like listening to stories, so please don't hold back and tell me everything including the emotions y'all felt.

And if possible please tell me what methods and systems you used to sign.
