1. Sales Is Seduction, Not a Rape
Sales isnât about forcing things, itâs about having power to make people want what you want them to do. if someone is wearing a coat in the room, Instead of telling them to take it off, just turn up the heat. Make it feel like it was their idea all along.
2. Donât Answer Questions
Hereâs the trick: whoeverâs asking the questions is in control. If they ask you a question, donât just give a plain answer. Ask them something right back. If they ask, âWhat results can I expect?â you can say, âWhat results are you aiming for?â It keeps you in the driverâs seat, so youâre steering the conversation.
3. Listen More, Talk Less
Youâd think sales is all about talking, right? Wrong. Itâs about listeningâreally listening. Theyâre your best source of information. Who are they? What do they want? How do they like things? The more you listen, more ammo you have to attack.
4. Whoever Cares More, Wins The Sale
People can smell your intentions from a mile away. If youâre struggling to close, it might be because you donât believe in what youâre selling. If your only OBJECTIVE is to help them, Youâll sound so trustworthy, theyâll want to work with you.
