Hello, guys. I don't want to make this too long, but I'm at a crossroads.
Should I keep focusing on the real estate niche, or transition to solar? (Italian Market)
For context, I currently have a solar client and a realtor client on only a pay-per-performance offer, and one realtor on a €230 retainer plus performance.
The thing is, I've been in Real Estate for almost a year. I know this niche pretty well (haven't been consistent at all, by the way), and I do have case studies, just two, but one of them is pretty insane.
The problem is that it takes such a long time for the performance fees to kick in, usually 4-5 months.
So, my revenue share offer, €6000 setup fee split into 8 monthly payments, plus 16% on the revenue generated, has to be at least a 6-8 month partnership.
On the other hand, solar marketing has a lot less competition in Italy, and selling solar panels is faster than getting realtors a listing and waiting for it to be sold.
So, should I move to solar, or just stick to what I know best, realtors, for 2-3 more months? Is my failure with realtors due solely to my inconsistency and poor work ethic, or the niche has played its part too?
