Intro
Hey - great to be here. A little about me... Started in F&B warehouse, then hotel FD, to hotel management, back to restaurants at Hard Rock Cafe, Ale House (now Miller's Ale House), then tried, failed to open my own restaurant, went back to hotels, became GM then regional then VP then started a Hotel Mgt Co and got into real estate investing in hotels and Asset Management, then went independent about 5 years ago... started a social enterprise Hospiamo which is all about lifting hospitality people up into better personal financial situations, and also started a nonprofit which is Hospitality Industry Impact Initiative, a 501(c)(3) educational organization, focused on engaging the underserved and ignored populations such as the youth, military Vets, women and minorities in leadership/board level roles, Americans w Disabilities, Formerly incarcerated, and others. I make some $ consulting but lost all my clients except for one since Covid, and they're awesome, we have ownership together in 2 hotels in Illinois and Connecticut. I'm m in Charlotte, NC, since 2010, with wife and teenage son and daughter, and diggity dog is Luna!
