I realized something about myself that a lot of others may relate to.
Over consumption of knowledge in effort to gain the fastest results.
What can this include?
Spending time consuming content on social media, podcasts, reading books, documentaries, etc.
Learning is a great thing and I encourage everyone to learn. However, what good is learning if you don’t implement what you’ve learned?
I’ve fallen into this trap many times. I even did it with fitness.
I remember when I first started my fitness journey I spent so much time consuming content on youtube trying to figure out the best way to tone my arms.
I’d follow a youtuber's workouts for maybe a week or two, not see any results then switch to something else. I kept doing that, hoping that I’d find something that would work, ultimately just to end up frustrated in this wheel of over consumption with no progress.
It wasn’t until I 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟑𝟎 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 that I actually 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬!
Maybe you’ve found yourself in this trap too, whether with fitness or something else.
It’s easy to get caught up in the rat race and feel like you need more info, the truth is you don’t.
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
Next is to 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟑𝟎 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬.
It takes 30 days to form a new habit which is why I’m making this Summer Shred Challenge 30 days long.
My true main goal for you is to make movement a part of your daily routine.
Why? Because 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞. Daily exercise will help you 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. You’ll also improve your physique and that saying, “when you look good, you feel good” is incredibly TRUE.
