“Be Still and Know that I am God.”
This morning it might be good to remember God’s providential care.
God cares for all of our needs.
BY God’s grace we are called children of God, so that we might receive the Kingdom, the house prepared for us from the beginning by the Father.
As a child of God, remember that you are called by Him to live in His grace. Place yourself under His care. Trust in God’s providence. Set your sight on Heaven and let the Good God lead you Home.
Father,
I give you thanks for your care for me. I ask that I might remain in your presence today, aware of your goodness, awaiting your promise. Help me to be a good disciple. Grant that I may keep my eyes open to see your work around me. Help me to witness to your glory. Help me to be still, to wait, and to watch as I place my hope in you.
Amen.
