For all the Saints
Today’s solemnity highlights the Goal of our Catholic faith: to live in Grace, to participate fully in God’s own life. Here, while we live on earth we receive His abundant life through the sacraments. Each sacrament extends God’s life to the recipient. As the elected, we who are baptized, are called to LIVE as children of God, heirs of His glory, by the way we live and through our communication with God in prayer.
Sanctity is an incremental process. Holiness isn’t a state of being, it is an activity, a disposition. Each day we are called to grow in our understanding and love for God. Each day we have opportunities to master our passions, guide our actions toward the good, and grow in wisdom and knowledge.
Strive to be a saint today. Make today an opportunity to grow in grace. Choose to conquer today as a child of God with all of the Heavenly aid at need at your disposal. Live as someone who is chosen, a royal child, an heir of God’s kingdom, for this is God’s will for you!
Be a saint!
