Ayo there’s a music section here? Unreal.
I make music for fun so I produced and released this song entitled ‘Yesterday’ last year.
This song was written a decade ago by my old high school band.
We used to dream about making music and performing together but responsibilities and the reality of life hit all of us.
Everyone moved on except for me,
My love and passion for creating music has always been there and it never fades away.
The original meaning of this song used to be a guy reminiscing his life with a girl that he used to love.
But after a decade,
The meaning of the song for me is now different.
It’s me and my hopes and dreams of playing in a band with my friends.
A dream that I wish I could go back to, but I know it won’t happen again.
This song is not about a woman anymore.
It is about the friendship built around writing this song,
Remembering all the fun we had,
And the dreams we never got to reach.
