Distinguishing my energy from others

While at the bottle depot today I noticed a homeless man sorting bottles and thought about giving him my refund money. (homelessness is a sensitive subject with me) When I gave him the money I was overwhelmed with extreme sadness to the point of choking back tears. Since I joined this course I have learned that this energy isn't all mine, that my psychic channels were open and I need to work on grounding and protecting my aura when in public and releasing energy. Thank you spirit and Misti for the lessons on psychic hygiene!
