Hi all,
I'd like to share my script when I'm asking upfront payment to my clients. I used to avoid asking for upfront payment, but after being scammed by clients who failed to fulfill their financial obligations, I've had to adjust my approach.
I understand the idea of using watermarks to protect your work, but it doesn't address the core issue: the loss of time and energy. Even if the client can't use the watermarked version, the hours you've poured into the project are gone. π
A small upfront payment can be a good way to see if a client is really committed.

Here's a sample of my script:
To begin this project, I require an upfront payment of $100.
The total project cost is $500. Once the project is finished, the remaining balance of $400 will be due.
You may send it through Paypal.
