Everyone wants to find a “winning product” but if you ask them what a winning product is, funny enough most people will have no idea, and this where the problem starts.
In order to find winning products you first need to understand what they are but don’t worry let me break it down for you.
To put it into simple words, a winning product is a product that is in huge demand and is valued by the audience to the point where they are willing to spend their hard-earned money to buy the product.
Now, with millions of products out there it's hard to find good products. It's like finding a needle in a haystack and that is why most people get stuck spending days trying to find a good product but guess what, you don't have to do that. Let me tell you the only two types of products that you should be focusing on:
1. Problem-solving
2. Wow Factor
- Problem-solving products:
Products that not only solve a problem but bring value and make someone's day-to-day life easier. Problem-solving products are products that target a specific set of customers with a specific pain point or issue which makes it irresistible for the customer to not buy the product because this product will solve a problem and make their day-to-day life easier and more convenient for them.
- Wow factor products:
Wow, factor products are products that are unique and different. Wow, Factor products are different from problem-solving products, they are lifestyle purchases. These are the products that catch the eyes of the customers and due to their physical appearance, the customers get attracted to them and feel the need to buy them. These are mostly impulse buys
It is easier to sell problem-solving products because of the value they bring to a person and if you show that in your ad and ad copy and target the right audience you can successfully sell it.
If you ask me, I recommend looking for Problem Solving Products because not only do they hold more value which makes it an easier buying decision for the potential customer but also because it provides value you can charge a premium compared to a wow factor product which only can be sold due to its uniqueness and doesn’t bring any real value to the customer. Also, problem-solving products tend to last longer and have a longer life compared to wow factor products, but if you find a trendy wow factor product at the right time then you can scale that to multi 5 figures a day real quick but it will also die quickly as the trend dies.
Focus on finding products that are in high demand but aren't saturated either, also qualifying each product is very important as well. You can't just find a product and then test it, you need to properly qualify it before you decide to run ads and as for what we do, we follow a 2 step qualification process and in this process we use actual data and numbers to qualify each product and then the products that meet our criteria and qualify the process, we then go ahead and test them and this way we not only save a lot of money but are also successful in finding winning product on a consistent basis.
I hope this helps you, there is a lot more that goes into it and if you have any questions or need any let me know.
