Fs 180
DEMO
HOW TO
- Skill Foundation: Ensure you have a strong foundation in cable wakeboarding, including riding, carving, and basic jumps.
- Safety Gear: Always wear a helmet and a properly fitting life jacket. Choose a cable park with clear, obstacle-free water.
- Approach: Edge into the kicker with a controlled heelside edge, building tension on the line.
- Pop and Rotation: As you approach the wake, initiate the rotation for the 360 by popping off the water and using your upper body to lead the spin. Rotate your body in a frontside (clockwise for regular riders, counterclockwise for goofy riders) direction.
- Spot the Landing: Keep your eyes focused on the water to spot the landing as you complete the rotation.
- Complete the Rotation: Use your shoulders and hips to continue the rotation until you reach 360 degrees. Keep your legs and board following the motion initiated by your upper body.
- Absorb the Impact: As you spot the landing, prepare to absorb the impact by bending your knees upon touchdown to maintain balance and control.
- Recovery: Ride away smoothly, maintaining control and balance.
- Practice and Persistence: Start by practicing the rotation on flat water or small features before attempting it off the wake. Progress at your own pace and prioritize safety at all times.
By following these steps, you'll master the Heelside Frontside 360 and add an impressive trick to your cable wakeboarding repertoire. Enjoy the exhilarating feeling of pulling off this stylish maneuver!
