By far, my #1 strategy to this day when it comes to doubling, tripling, even 10X-ing your lead gen is to first make a list of all the current places that your ideal clients are present and active both online and offline, and then dedicate yourself to showing up there consistently and persistently by engaging and interacting, answering questions, and creating helpful content.
You see one of the biggest mistakes people make when trying to generate new leads and clients is thinking that they need to go out there and find them, locate them, track them down. But the fact is all the leads and clients you could ever want are already there.
As an example, if you want more business owner leads for your marketing agency you could check out the hundreds of Facebook and LinkedIn groups for business owners. Join the local chamber of commerce. Start looking for podcasts, YouTube channels, or blogs dedicated to these audiences that you could create content for. You could even run paid ads targeting them directly in order to get your message directly in front of your most ideal and perfect clients.
Sticking with our business owner example, did you know there are 33 million small businesses in the US alone, with another 4.4 million new businesses started every single year. There’s not a lead shortage, what there is, is a failure to connect shortage.
YOUR MISSION: Make a list of 10 places that your ideal clients are present and active online. Be specific about what groups, places, forums, etc. And then sign up, enroll, or register to each one.
