Large Scale Printing On a Small Printer
Did you know you can still print large items on a small scale printer. Most printers are 250mm x 250mm x 250mm in the desktop realm but that shouldnt stop you from being able to make objects up to 2 metres in length. Give Luban a try. https://www.luban3d.com/ Simplify upload your large file, select your build plate size and Luban will cut the model into 3D printable pieces. You even have the option to include locating pins or glue holes to ensure everything lines up.

Printing Fine Details with Arachne Slicing Engine
Ever noticed that the ultra-fine details or text in your 3D models disappear when printed? This often happens because these features are smaller than the standard 0.4mm nozzle size used in most 3D printers, leading to a frustrating omission of those details in your final print. ▪️ The Traditional Fix (And Its Drawbacks) A common solution is to switch to a smaller, 0.2mm nozzle. While effective, this approach requires adjusting your entire printing process to accommodate the finer nozzle, which can be a bit of an ordeal, especially for complex models. ▪️ A Smarter, Simpler Solution: Arachne Perimeter Generator Enter Arachne, a game-changing feature available in both PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio. Arachne isn't about changing hardware; it's about smarter software. By dynamically adjusting the extrusion speed, Arachne allows for finer detail in prints, even with a standard 0.4mm nozzle. Think of it like adjusting the flow of a water tap: full blast and the water gushes out, but slightly closed, and you get a much finer stream. Arachne applies this principle to 3D printing, enabling your printer to produce those tiny details without swapping out nozzles. Why Give Arachne a Try? - Keep your 0.4mm nozzle and avoid the hassle of switching. - Achieve finer details in your prints, perfect for intricate models and legible text. - Available in popular slicing software, making it accessible to many 3D printing enthusiasts. Next time you're printing a model with fine text or details, activate Arachne in your slicing software. It could be the difference between a good print and a great one. Dive into the details with Arachne and see how much sharper your prints can be! https://help.prusa3d.com/article/arachne-perimeter-generator_352769 https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/WallGenerator
