⚡More Exciting Things Coming Up⚡
I'm working on building an advisory service for small business owners. I would be leveraging highly qualified group members to do this. The structure will be different from typical advisory services. I'll provide more details as things unfold. For now, I would love to know who would be interested in participating in this? This is strictly for people with bonafide C-Suite experience. Let me know if you want to get on the list to participate.

Dan I could not agree more - unfortunately healthcare data has a bigger price tag in the dark web than financial data and most hospitals and healthcare environments are not geared up the way banks are to deal with hackers hence they provide a soft target. I am pretty sure in 2024 and 2025 we are going to hear about more breaches in that sector.

Awesome Nicki, just a couple of small extras that may help. Pls ensure staff who work from home always use VPN and that they use strong passwords on their home routers..when hackers go after companies, remote users are normally the best targets - apart from that you are being pro-active with training your staff - excellent👌

Katelyn good to hear from you. The question on cybersecurity insurance comes up a lot with my clients but over the past few years, that market has changed dramatically. Any company that wants cyber insurance will be sent a questionnaire to fill and in most cases, if the insurance company sees that you don't have a robust cybersecurity footprint, they will either reject your client or make it extremely prohibitive financially as they will recommend a whole list of solutions they would want to see before they move forward. Before your client moves forward, in broad categories they need the following 1. Robust end point protection 2. 7 layered protection for networks 3. A good Identity Management system 4. Layered data security and compliance measures 5. A well thought risk management system that includes a risk register If your client is missing in any of these five areas, my recommendation is hold on the cyber insurance because the rate of rejection is very high. Once they have figured this out, then the approach becomes a lot easier. Sorry if this is too much info but I hope it helps.
