The Easiest Customers to Convert
Did you know the easiest customers to convert are the customers you already have? One of the biggest mistakes fractionals make is they continuously look for new business instead of creating opportunities to maintain a longer relationship with their existing clients. Don't let the relationship die by trying to sell your clients the same thing over and over again (a block of your time, for example). While you are doing your regular work with them, look for what's missing and figure out a way to create a product or service to sell that will solve that problem. Do you deliberately invest time and money into learning more about sales and marketing? @Kristy Crockett what area do you want to focus on the most? If you are a specialist in a partular industry, then you will become the go-to person for all things finance for businesses in that industry. Less competition means more business for you. It also allows you to have more refined, focused and effective marketing efforts.

@Kristy Crockett generally speaking it is a good idea to pick an industry with a specific problem and grow from there. Many of us have worked across multiple industries and can do many things, but that doesn't make it good for business to focus on servicing everyone. Pick an industry you love with a big problem you know how to fix. Like I said, it makes your marketing communications more focused and relevant. Otherwise you are wasting time, money and energy sending out irrelevant messages to a lot of people and hoping to get big results. The opposite usually happens. Just some food for thought.
