The 30 Day Plant Positive Jumpstart is over however...
A fresh new month and I hope it has started fabulously for YOU! A great start has got to be #WorldVeganDay right? Also, I am SUPER EXCITED that Christspiracy is now available to stream free here: https://christspiracy.com/?mcp_token=eyJwaWQiOjkxMTA0NCwic2lkIjo1Njk2NTU2NTksImF4IjoiZjA4OGIwMDMyMDE2NjMyMjU2ODVmNzU4MTg1MTRiMGMiLCJ0cyI6MTczMDUzMTE5OCwiZXhwIjoxNzMyOTUwMzk4fQ.EzHY-a78_RbZRQCSCbYe6fd9AWGz_fwQPN4DmfLAYwc Gosh I hope that crazy link works) Otherwise just go to their Insta: (this will be my Saturday evening!) I just saw this meme and it's Saturday Silly in Australia so I had to share with my Plant Positive friends! Also, a little WIN - I have my first book signing event for the Plant Positive Journal version 2 tomorrow! How exciting. It is at a FULL vegan cafe and retail store here on the Sunshine Coast. They are celebrating World Vegan Weekend. Whatever happens, I plan to devour some deliciousness! I hope your weekend includes much plant positive deliciousness too.

The 30 Day Plant Positive Jumpstart is over however...
Accountability Thread OCT Plant Positive Jumpstart.
What is your ONE most important daily action for 30 Days this October Plant Positive Jumpstart? Considerations for your daily action: - This is about skill acquisition as well as results. What skills are worth building? - What is something that will have a compounding positive impact on your life? - What is the upside, if it goes really well? - What is the downside, is there even one - besides a little time?

@M W ok, good to hear!
🎊💚😀WE ARE HERE, DAY 30! 😀💚🎊
I am so very grateful to everyone for joining Plant Positive and especially, for everyone who has been active and supportive throughout this past 30 Days. 💞 It's a small community however it has taught me, my goal of a safe space for vegans and the plant-based curious is possible. I know we have serious animal rights activists in this group AND we have people who still eat some meat, some time. The vibe remained positive and for that I am grateful. 💞 I genuinely believe the way forward to the compassionate vegan world I am seeking is paved with love and yet I KNOW how much that can cost those of us who are locked and loaded vegan For The Animals. 🎯 My learnings? The June 30 Day Jumpstart was transformative for me. I replaced a bad habit - drinking during the week with an AMAZING habit, journalling and got the calm and clarity I had been seeking. With a huge side of belief and self-respect because my food and exercise is on point and I felt like drinking during the week was incongruent with the person I wanted to be. That was why I was so pumped to share this Oct Jumpstart with YOU. I know how powerful habit change is. 🎯 And yet, I stretched too hard in this Oct Jumpstart. I aimed for too much and some of it felt wrong. Not bad, just not congruent and NOT sustainable. 🎯 The actionable learnings that hopefully will be of value for you too? ✅✅ You've got to know where your time and energy for a new habit will come from. That's why swapping a "bad habit" with a more supportive one can be so impactful. ✅✅ You've got to have fuel in the tank, to push through even if you're not yet seeing results for the new habit. I've been pushing too hard for too long and although I "thought" 30 Days was doable, I ran out of fuel! I decided (and this is a WIN) that sacrificing my two important learnings this year... 1. Prioritising the simple things that help me enjoy the journey. 2. Journalling in a non-rushed manner every day for calm and clarity. ...was NOT something I wanted to do to hit my own little (LARGE!) self-imposed targets that were not yet working.

@Susan Sorensen thank for your support. It means so much. A goal with the journal was to walk the line between appealing to non-vegans (because they are the majority and I need them to change their ways!) while also staying true to my animal rights activist friends who I respect so much - like YOU!
💪 Welcome to DAY TWENTY-FOUR of the Plant Positive Jumpstart! 💪
Our Theme, #ThursdayTraining, I can be a consistency queen to my detriment. If YOU can relate, it's vital for both of us to regularly take the time to check in and confirm we are spending our time, energy and CONSISTENCY wisely. Because, being patient is ONLY a strategy for success when you are taking the RIGHT actions. How to know the right actions? That's tougher! I look at, A) Am I seeing results? B) Are these actions that the person with the results I'm seeking prioritises? C) Does this feel like it could become a sustainable and joyful part of my life? Beyond setting a specific and compelling goal, here are 3 Keys to help you get and stay consistent with your exercise: - Lock and load set training days and times. This means you get to avoid any exhausting “will I, won’t I” self negotiation.   - Ensure your training is not dependent on circumstances beyond your control, like the weather or a training buddy. Or, if it is, sort your alternatives – before you need them! - Choose a form of training that you enjoy or at the very least could learn to enjoy. My caveat is that initially you might not enjoy it, because initially you might not be good at it. You can think of something you would like to be good at though.  Or at the very least, something you would like the results for being good at.   Have you ever done consistency to your detriment? Put another way, stuck with something well after it stopped being a valuable use of your time? Apologies... I got lazy with my picture picking however this is an old fav of mine... I think I'm dreaming of bread!

@Susan Sorensen oh wow the garden is amazing. A lot of work to maintain though! Now I see why you’re at it so much. Salad veg from your veggie patch has to be the best.

@Olalere Samuel not the place for pitches that are not related to a plant-based lifestyle. I don't even really pitch my stuff that is ALL about a vegan lifestyle! Hope you understand.
