HAPPY FRIDAY! What was one big WIN this week?
I love this question; my wise business coach Ralph begins every session, asking me this. It forces me to look for the good, even when it was a rough week! :) They say that the feelings of gratitude bring in "good luck" or just good things in general. So the practice of NOTICING the good stuff is important, if you want to draw more good stuff to you. FOR ME: I got a deposit to hold a painting! This was a big one - it's 72" tall and 24" wide, and it's been sitting around for years. It's an awesome piece (photo below) - the collector who bought it loves to pay CASH. He's one of my favorite buyers. October has been really slow for art sales (it always is) and so selling this painting on October 30th saved the month :)

Since I am not fully in sales mode yet I have building block things to share. This week I joined the Visual Arts Association which is out of the UK. I joined because I realized we need to get certs of authenticity going and by joining I received their template for that along with all of the other benefits and resources. I think it was $120 for an entire year and already have the COAs in motion.
67 Days left in 2024! How will you make the most of it?
Only 67 days left in this year! What is the one thing you’ll focus on with your art? 👇🏽 Share below! In that amount of time there's Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas and New Year's 😬 For my art business: ✅Determine the exact dates I’ll offer holiday sales for www.drewbrophyart.com customers and how much of a sale I’ll offer ✅Send newsletters telling buyers about the sales ✅Social media posts (on @drewbrophy Instagram and Facebook) ✅Create & release new ads for holiday art sales ✅Do one LIVE open house sale for local buyers Our SELL ART WITH EMAIL Clinic starts Wednesday and I’ll share some of my email strategies for holiday there. In 2022 for the month of November we sold $81,000 of art online! Crazy I know…I’ll tell how and why in the clinic. And I’m going to try to duplicate that this year. If you’re an ART MONEY SUCCESS Mastermind member, you get access to the clinic free. 🙌 If not, you can sign up for the clinic. I’ll share the link in the comments below.

Day 30 - 30 Day Challenge "Sell More Art!" 🎨
Day 30: Reflection & Craft Your Elevator Pitch We’ve made it to the final day! Congratulations!! Give yourself a big tap on your back! The challenge wasn't easy so you can be proud of yourself! Today’s Focus: 1. Reflect on Your Journey - List 3 good things that came out of this challenge for your personal growth - Also list 1 thing you now know you need to work on 2. Create Your 3-Sentence Elevator Pitch - Summarize your art introduction from day 27 to 3 clear sentences that describe your art and who it is for. - Example: “I create sculpture like artworks that captures the feeling of abundance and living a life of your dreams, perfect for people who believe in the law of attraction.” - You can then use this to introduce your art in live when people ask you what you do or even send it to people. It’s much more interesting than just “I am an artist” :D  Bonus Action: Send Your Pitch to one person and include a link so they can see your art (could be per Email, whatsapp, facebook, instagram etc) Share in the Comments: - What are 3 good things that came out of this challenge for your personal growth? - What is 1 thing you now know you need to work on? - Share with us your elevator pitch too Well done guys! Even if you couldn't finish every task you can still be proud of yourself! Make sure to celebrate yourself today!

1. During this challenge I have learned that it is not so painful to spend a couple of hours each day at the computer working on the tech support for getting my art out to people. I have learned that this outreach is required and not optional, I need to treat the tech support as equal importance with making the art. I have learned that others find value in the sharing of my own journey through comments made, and that there is support in the world for art and artists even by people who have never met. The thing that I need to work on is seeing the value of the non art related work that financially supports my life at this time. 2. My art shows how I see and what lives inside my imagination expressed through adventures in a variety of materials and mediums. My art is an expression of my own humanity with all of its facets and complexities to be enjoyed by others. I am living most authentically and honestly as a person when making and sharing art. I did share my work via mass storage link with people I know a week ago and they enjoyed seeing it. Often artists have their work seen simply for the enjoyment of the receiver, not to make a sale. I am finding that keeping that in mind will help with the anxiety related to selling. I believe creative people have a responsibility to share their work whether for sale or not, and the reason they have these abilities are so they will share.

@Oliver Hojas now it sounds so obvious that this must be done. I cannot over state how much I not only love making art but that time disappears and everything else is in a suspended state. When one has this privilege in their life it is a very difficult balance to not only gravitate to that space and stay, but do the other things needed to support this way of being
