People are starting to see though the BS marketing tactics like @Nav Pabla said. Although I'm new and naive in the online business space my strategy has been to provide value for free in online forums where my audience hangs out. I literally got my first paying client from them seeing my posts reaching out to me and asking to pay for my service..... No CTA at all. It got me thinking of the daddy of online marketing Gary Vee and his book Jar, Jab, Jab, Right Hook. To summarise the book - Instead of immediately trying to make a sale the first time a prospect encounters you, you should first build the relationship by providing high-quality, no-obligation content. This is akin to a boxers "jab." Once you've delivered a series of these informative jabs, you can then present them with your offer (your "right hook") to purchase something you sell. If you've engaged them intelligently, they will then be more receptive to your offer. // Provide value and help with no expectation.
