I set up an embedded signup form and made the Welcome Email the first thing they get in my funnel. You have the choice of double opt in which means your customer signs up for your newsletter but first gets an email wanting them to confirm they subscribed to your newsletter...if they click yes then the Welcome email is sent to them. I forgot to add, it is also for a 15% discount on their first purchase too. The con is you get fewer subscribers because they don't want the extra steps. The pro is supposed to be you get fewer emails with typos and protects against bots and spam. Which method do you guys use most and why?
