Is IB worth it?
Has anyone ever done IB or know about, because in my high school they offer both AP and IB. I don't know if I should do IB or not but currently I am planning to do both. So I want to know if doing IB worth it or if sticking to AP is good enough.

From what I've heard about IB, it's much more writing intensive than "normal school" is. There's even writing you have to do in math! 😭 So if you're more inclined towards writing and creativity, I'd definitely try going to IB. However, IB is much harder than most AP classes, so the class rigor is much greater than most people are prepared for. I would ask your counselor for more information on the IB program at your high school or check out their website at https://www.ibo.org/programmes/
Is justin sung or IcanStudy advice a scam?
This summer i have a goal of self studying geometry, algebra 2, pre calc, Japanese, hs biology and some research topics 😭 Because of this I've been looking for what is the best way to study. 3 days I magically came across Justin Sung's channel and in the span of 2 days I've watched 13+ hours of his content💀 When you watch one of his videos i felt like a learnt a lot of information but at the same time you didn't. His usual 20 minute+ videos are unnecessarily confusing and most of the stuff you learn can be summarizes into a 6 sentence paragraph. Although out of all the study advice on you tube I feel like his was the most detailed and logical and gave me an actual understand of learning. But when you watch his videos he might say something is bad and 3 videos later he'll say its the holy grail. This back and forth confusion made me felt like he had the secret sauce of learning so I looked into his course and it was 500$ a year💀🙏 Now I'm wondering if his advice is purposely confusing and his you tube is all a marketing tactic or if he gives actual good advice that has helped you learn. Before you comment he's a scam watch one of his you tube videos so you can kind of see what I mean.

Idrk much abt him, but if you're looking for studying tips you can read Kevin D's Deep Work series or scrolls through the Schoolwork tab of the community and read some of the tips others have left there. Personally, I like to use my notes to create test questions using ChatGPT or by myself right after I learn the material to remember them better, but I'd recommend trying things out this summer and see what works for you!
I am sorry
I am sorry for the actions I have done. It was not fair to you, the community, and to Rishab. I was accused of farming which I did do. People reached out to me saying that they liked my posts. Then later the same person would glorify, me and my work. I fell into the trap of helping them. I myself did not ask for anyone to like my comments. I was contacted first and agreed to help them but I am not telling you this for you to have sympathy for me. I am telling you this because i do not want you to fall into the same trap as I did. I have decided to leave for two reasons. 1 I cheated my way to level 5 buy helping other people in exchange they help me. 2 I want to make room on the leader board for those who actually got to the level with out cheating. I will rejoin with a different fresh new account. I have learned my lesson and will only join for the sake of helping the community. I hope the others who were accused follow my footsteps into rejoining with a new account to ensure fairness for the community. Again I am truly sorry for my actions and hope you the community will have the heart to forgive me. DO NOT LIKE THIS.

Thank you for your honesty. I hope the others who decided to do the same will do the same. I hope you are still able to learn from the rest of this awesome community. Again, thank you so much for stepping up and being an example for the rest of the community. 🫡❤️
Textbooks that helped me get a 1560 for my SAT
For math, I started with the basics using the Princeton Review book as my foundation. Once I felt good about it, leveled up with Dr. John Chung’s SAT Math Prep book, the legendary and brutal practice tests that are harder than the real exam but prepared me super well. For writing, I kept it simple by sticking with the Princeton Review book I used for math; it’s also my go-to for solid grammar and writing skills. Finally, for the reading, bulk of practice, and then grab the Prepvantage book, which taught me how to tackle tough history and literature passages better. and for practice tests, the College Board is king; don’t waste time with other materials. Use the free online Khan Academy practice tests—they are the gold standard and will give you the best preparation for the real exam. And Bluebook for DSAT practice questions

Do all of these resources also apply to the new DSAT, since I'm pretty sure they changed the format (especially for the reading section)?
