Your next editor 😎
Hey y’all! I know this isn’t the most common type of post, but thought it would be a great place for it. I am looking to work as a trusted go to editor for you. I have shot & edited Brand Stories/VBC’s, testimonials, commercials, films, FAQ, Promos, social media (batch), YouTube. I’ve worked with espn, DZne, fight game advisors, Ludeca, & Ocean Reef to name a few. I know the kind of work that helps your clients and the importance of speed coupled with quality. Please send me a message or comment below if interested! Thanks! Looking forward to connecting!

@Dave Lisowski hey brother! Thanks for Checking in and allowing the post. If I would’ve known I wouldn’t have posted 👍🏽 Now that we’re here. A lot of personal things have come up and my client work hasn’t been consistent enough to sustain. So I had to pivot a bit to keep the ship afloat. It’s not over just adjusting for the time being and designing a system that can work for me. It’s a comeback story 😎 If anyone is interested. Here is a video of what I can do for you! https://youtu.be/S6RxMpeFSwQ?si=non8fZIJd4_U3v07

@Dave Lisowski something I will be exploring mostly because outreach seems to be the biggest time consumer and doesn’t take much besides parking interest and landing a meeting in which case I would come in. My main goal with my business is to be closing sales meetings & client management. I’m actually looking for a sales job as we speak so I can just build this thing without pressure of feeding myself.
Pricing question
Hey Squad! I had a sales meeting with a client that is looking to do 1 YouTube video (Vlog/educational) a month. They are a door manufacturing company. I'd like to send them a proposal by today or tomorrow. I've never done a deal like this and I'm looking for some guidance. Thanks guys!

I'd probably Make around $500 or so after all expenses. Not nearly enough so definitely should bump higher. Im just not sure if a small door manufacture will want to pay $36,000/year for organic YouTube videos. Money is tight for me at the moment, so this deal could save my ass lol I wouldn't want to lose it.

Also how can I incentivize a longer contract?
White Labeling Production
Hey Squad! I had a few conversations with 3 successful business owners about scaling and all 3 recommended white labeling or parting with a Studio for deliverables. Just curious on what you guys thought about this?

@Dave Lisowski Definitely great points! And I totally understand that being hands off would require a lot of work/testing upfront to develop that process and foundation the right way. My process now would definitely need tweaking if switching to low ticket. Low ticket meaning $500-$1,000/month (average) Selling social content + strategy High ticket meaning $5k -$25k The way I see it is this: what’s the most efficient & effective way to provide max value with minimal amount of my own time. While still profiting 60%- 80%. (Understanding I need to still hustle my ass off) My current takeaways form brain storming: 1. Business’s NEED social / organic. 2. If All of our goals here are to collect retainer deals why not start there? So with low ticket + obvious NEED should = more sales. 3. Outreach is all about quality relationships (20% high ticket) and volume for short to mid term (80% low ticket) 4. If we close a business on an easier low ticket social media retainer we can also still later on upsell a brand story and other high ticket videos. 5. By still selling on a per video basis even with a package such as 20 clips for $500/month we can white label or outsource on a per clip basis, allowing for measurable profitability. 6. Essentially because I’m in the video world I can almost act as a broker middle man between clients and white label company. What do you think?

@Dave Lisowski hey brother, take your time as I know you’re busy but just immensely curious to hear what you have to say when you do have the time. Thanks
Business Opportunity
Hey Squad, @everyone I recently had a 2 conversations with 2 separate business owners, I shared my goals and situation with both of them, I presented this idea to them separately and they both shared the same idea. I'm curious to run it by the group. So basically the idea would be to partner up with a select group of video agencies and sell their services for a fee or percentage of each deal. They mentioned I know the industry well and know how to sell video. This would eliminate the need for gear, or deliverables. I would essentially be the middleman. The reason they said it would make sense for me because my goal is to eventually be Able to only need my laptop to make money... my other goal is to have time, money and resources to make films and build my brand in that world. This may be out there but I'm curious wha you guys think and or if anyone would be interested in a partnership in this way.
