Hey. Since it’s October, I’m wondering how far are you guys in your research; what stage are you in? I’m asking this because I’m curious of how people pace themselves in research compared to me.

We are looking for someone proficient in creating vector scientific diagrams to assist with our research paper on "Hypersonic Shockwave Interaction with Boundary Layer." Your work will be acknowledged in the paper's acknowledgments section. We are currently researching on Shockwave Boundary layer interaction for this project and would greatly appreciate your artistic expertise! The person will be making diagrams such as experimental setup and such. If we were to hit it off for the project the person will work on my future projects and will maybe be given authorship.

For the past few days, I've been working hard as finals are near and I have to study a lot. As well as practice my piece for the concert which is also not that far away. And work on my newsletter, draft article, finish all those writings, assignments, and a ton more. So, after designating every hour of my day to some work and really creating a schedule that forces me to focus at all times, I noticed a pattern. Whatever I do, if I do it first thing after school or early in the morning or basically at any beginnings, I tend to fall in love with that, I keep working and lose track of time and I just keep going and it feels so amazing. On the other hand if I stop even for some time say after 10 mins, I look at my phone for just 5 mins, it changes everything, I'm not longer 100% doing what my intentions were, instead I find my mind wondering off into many directions. What I found interesting though is that although I did competitively get more done in the first scenario, if I enter the second scenario, the opposite happens, I don't get as much done but along the way of doing my tasks, my mind wonders off to such amazing places and I find all these amazing ideas and patterns and feelings and answers that are just impossible to find with a pen and a paper and I love the feeling it leaves me with, there's no base, nothing to guide me, no connection between each thought, our mind is just so amazing and beautiful. These new discoveries you make, they're not some big new ground breaking discoveries, they've always been there yet we just forget about them, never see them, they're just simply amazing. So moral of the story, when you try and try to be intentional about trying and acknowledge your imperfections, you're almost promised to always be left with great outcomes.

I know, you want me to get straight to the point and I will....... after a few words. (btw im gonna be frank with this post) If you have been active in this community, recently you might have seen a hoard of clubs, nonprofits etc. starting up all over the place and MANY with MANY different topics. But When I FIRST JOINED Rishab's community, there was only 1 non-profit, a organization with one flimsy post for joining the non-profit. At the time, I was not confident of getting accepted but I applied anyways seeing they had a nice website (besides, what's the worst that could happen). And GUESS WHAT? I got accepted but then when I did there was a PROBLEM. There were like 8 members in a non-profit doing almost nothing in terms of initiatives or any action done. But, after many hours of effort by the founders and the Directors WE MANAGED TO MAKE IT THROUGH. NOW WE are PROUD to say that we are one the MOST distinguished NPO in SKOOL. We have MANY BLOGS and more up and coming. We have 2 initiatives under more than 32 members!!(Bio-in-med, Engineering workshop) and so much much more........... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You see, here I am not trying to do a sales pitch, but trying to share opportunities, the opportunity to be a part of an organization that is made of up of like-minded individuals and a chance to PROVE YOUR POTENTIAL. I don't want you guys missing out, when I applied there were 8 people now as members are increasing so is competition. SO PLEASE DO NOT MISS OUT!!! afterall, whats bad in trying???
