Introduction
Hello everyone. My name is Alex Molden and I’m a Leadership and Personal development speaker, coach, and consultant. I work with athletes, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and Corporate teams to align their purpose with their passion and assign whom they want to become and where they want to go. I then help them uncover the adjustments they need to make in their character, relationships, decisions, and thinking to become a better leader. I’m a big fan of Ron’s and what he’s built. I look forward to learning from a lot of folks in this community! Have a blessed Sunday.

I was scared…
I hated posting on social media. In the back of my mind I’m always replaying a video or comments I’ve read of someone being wrongly attacked for something that was taken out of context. In today’s hyper sensitive times with “FAKE NEWS”, everyone is the PC police for some cause that is easily offended. Deep inside I’ve never want to deal with all of the negative comments and attacks from people or bots. I can’t believe anybody does. It just doesn’t seem right or natural. But then a client of mine, while working on a video and podcast for him, asked how did I become so comfortable on camera and in front of a microphone. I explained to him that I had recorded almost 100 video podcasts interviews in my home video studio. The next thing he did changed my life for ever. He asked for my youtube channel and the name of my podcast so that he could check me out. I was instantly caught off guard and speechless. I can only imagine what was going on in his head when I explained that I had been recording things for myself and other clients for over 7 years and had never published any of the episodes. Instantly I felt empathy for him as he struggled with his videos. It never dawned on me that though I had be recording videos and podcasts privately that others actually may want to see and hear what I was talking about. I had developed a skill, but I decided to hide it from the world because I wasn’t prepared to take the negative barbs and arrows from strangers. But not publishing those episodes also held me back from helping others get better. It was also a disservice to those that gave me their time for the interview and a disservice to my business because because I know for a fact that podcasting is one of the best marketing tools a person could use in their business to get customers. This situation taught me that protecting yourself by hiding is never the right thing to do. As business owners we have to face our fears and show our talents to the world and be willing to lead those that want to follow us to victory.
