Group Strategy Call - 29th of October
Which Time Suits You? ๐Ÿค”โฐ
I'm thinking of changing our Group Strategy calls to a different time to ensure you all get an opportunity to jump on. I've inserted the most common time zones for the members in the group into this Time Zone call planner (see the image below). Column 1 = Brisbane, Australia time (my time) Column 2 = New York time Column 3 = Vancouver Time My question to you is...which time on most days works best for you? Click an option down below. Also if a different day works best for you, please comment down below ๐Ÿ‘‡ I might do 2 calls per week. Each one for different time zones..

Hi Renalden, this is a community for Private music teachers to learn how to promote their private music teaching business. Are you a music teacher or are you simply wanting to learn how to play music?
Promotion in a new town
Hello. I recently moved to a new county (competitive with many singing opportunities in the communities and local voice teachers). I want to have a promotion for the new school year but not sure how to go about it. - My prices are average or slightly higher than the local teachers' as I have a specialty, certification, and experience. - I offer packages that are significantly lower than a single lesson: 4 and 10-lesson packages. - I want to attract teenagers and adults that are searching for a slightly different way of learning their craft. I'm a bit unorthodox and very friendly and engaging. Should I offer the first lesson for half the price? Should I offer the first package at a discount? Should I offer the first lesson for free (I don't like this one for so many reasons. Tried it in the past)? What would you offer me to do to break into this new market? Appreciate your advice! Stav

Hey Stav :) that's exciting! What's your music business name so I can check out your Website, etc. Firstly I would recommend going through the Music Teacher Fast-Track course in the 'Classroom' tab of this community. It touches on crafting irresistible offers and how to advertise more effectively. I've got some more ideas on how you can market your voice lessons. It'll be easier for me to explain over a quick zoom call so feel free to book a call with me here and we can talk about some marketing ideas: https://tidycal.com/profitablemusicteachers/website-review-call

@Stav German Hey Stav, how are you going with the promotion of your vocal lessons?
โญ Review Booster: Get New Reviews Without Students
Hey guys, I just added an additional video in the Music Student Magnet Course about getting new reviews even if you don't have many students. Here's why you should put a lot of effort into optimising your Google My Business listing: 1๏ธโƒฃ Googleโ€™s algorithm factors in the QUANTITY and QUALITY of your reviews when determining local search rankings. 2๏ธโƒฃ Positive reviews serve as social proof. A listing filled with glowing 5-star reviews signals that you are reliable, experienced and has a track record of success with students. 3๏ธโƒฃ In competitive markets, reviews help you stand out! (as you can see in the video below) ๐Ÿš€ Comment your Google My Business listing in the section below and we'll give you some personalised feedback on what you can improve to show up higher in Google Maps.
