Joel Salatin is a REAL environmental champion, and an organic, bio-gardening icon! It's a win for health, the environment, and humanity! This is not about politics, it's about REAL change with our food supply. Let's put our differences aside as HOLISTIC AMERICANS, and back this epic movement! Let's get ourselves healthy, start community gardening initiatives, and help each other learn how to make our own medicine. Let's boost our fellow Americans and encourage each other to stop supporting the products and companies profiting from our poor health. If we heal ourselves, and we shift our spending habits to trustworthy AMERICAN companies, we damage their operating system. Let's fracture this stronghold Pharma has on the medical industry and return common sense and natural healing back into the equation. This is something BOTH Democrats and Republicans can agree with. Political parties cause division. We are ALL Americans. That is unity! That is the Holistic American way! JOIN THE MOVEMENT! Comments are welcome, but divisional remarks regarding political parties or candidates will be removed. Last thing we want is the kind of division FB creates. We are about health, love, and unity! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™ READ FULL ARTICLE

I use what goes in my body, and on my body to heal my physical pain and the hormonal balance due to age. I am soโ€ฆ. thankful I have found this community. We have become such a backwards thinking world in regards to our health and what truly heals us. I am grateful for those that are willing to educate us. I have removed 90% of processed foods from my diet and have never felt better!

Guess What Day It Is? It's Faith In Farms Freebie Friday!!! ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŽ‰
Happy Friday, Holistic Peeps! It's Faith In Farm Recipe Club Freebie Friday and today we're serving up some savory pork chops! 4x 7 oz. (200g) pork chops salt, to taste 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion powder ยฝ tsp. smoked paprika ยฝ tsp. black pepper 1 tbsp. olive oil 8 fl oz. (240ml) low-sodium chicken broth 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 2 tsp. honey 1 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley, optional What you need to do: 1. Remove the pork chops from the refrigerator, season both sides with a pinch of salt and set aside to rest for 30 minutes. 2. In a small bowl, combine the flour, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and black pepper to create a spice rub. 3. After the pork has rested for 30 minutes, pat the pork chops dry using a paper towel and rub both sides of the chops with the spice rub. 4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet (with a lid) over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot and shimmering, add the pork chops and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they become golden. 5. Flip the chops over and reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 6-12 minutes, or until the chops have cooked through. 6. Transfer the cooked pork chops to a plate, loosely cover with aluminum foil, and set aside to rest for 5 minutes. 7. In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar and honey to the skillet. 8. Use a wooden spoon to scrape the bottom of the pan to release any stuck pieces of pork. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook until it reduces by half. 9. Remove the skillet from heat and once the sauce is no longer simmering, swirl in the butter. 10. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon over the sauce. Scatter the fresh parsley over the pork chops and serve. Serves 4...Enjoy! Shani's Weekly Herb Spotlight-Rose Hips
Happy Saturday, Holistic Family! Rose hips, the small, round fruits of the wild rose plant (Rosa spp.), have been cherished for centuries for their medicinal properties and nutritional value. These vibrant red or orange fruits develop after the rose blooms and are packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and other beneficial compounds. Rose hips is classified as an adaptogenic herb. Origin of Rose Hips Historically, rose hips have been used in various cultures around the world. They were particularly valued in ancient Greek and Roman societies, not just for their beauty but also for their healing properties. Native Americans utilized rose hips for their nutritional benefits, especially during the winter months when fresh fruits and vegetables were scarce. Today, rose hips are harvested from different species of roses, including Rosa canina (wild dog rose), which is common in Europe and parts of Asia. Medicinal Benefits 1. Rich in Vitamin C: Rose hips are known for their high vitamin C content, which is essential for immune function, skin health, and collagen production. Just one serving can provide more vitamin C than an orange! 2. Antioxidant Properties: Packed with antioxidants, rose hips help combat oxidative stress in the body. This can aid in reducing inflammation and protecting against chronic diseases. 3. Anti-Inflammatory Effects: Studies suggest that rose hips may help reduce joint pain and inflammation, making them a popular natural remedy for conditions like arthritis. 4. Digestive Health: The fiber content in rose hips can support digestive health and regularity. They may also help soothe gastrointestinal issues. 5. Skin Health: Rose hip oil, extracted from the seeds, is a popular ingredient in skincare products due to its moisturizing properties and ability to improve skin texture and tone. 6. Potential Weight Management: Some research indicates that rose hips might help regulate metabolism and support weight management efforts. 7. Blood Sugar Control: Preliminary studies suggest that rose hips may help lower blood sugar levels, making them a potential ally for those managing diabetes.
