Setting default risk for limit order
Just figured out how to set the default risk size for limit orders made with the Long/Short drawing tool in TradingView, sharing with all: 1. Draw a long or short on the chart. 2. Right-click the long/short and choose Settings. 3. Change your Risk to a percent or dollar amount. I want to risk $150 per trade, so I set it to $150. 4. The next time you right click a long/short diagram and choose "Create Limit Order", the number of contracts will be preset to match your configured risk size. Note that it will always preset a contract amount up to your preset risk, so if you want to get as close as possible to your ideal risk size, you may need to add 1 contract since it won't automatically exceed your risk size. Remember to configure this setting for both longs and shorts--they're separate settings.
