What do you notice about this technique?
Funnily enough, a year ago @Nathan Tiyce had never punted before. But then he came across a video I posted about punting and ended up joining Prokick Australia. Now we're housemates lol. (and he needs to mow the lawn)

He walks on a straight line and once he kicks the ball his hips are facing the way the ball goes.
Film review
Drop some footage of yourself punting and this Sunday at 8pm CDT USA time/12pm Melbourne, AUS time. I will hold a zoom call to go over it with you

This is some film from yesterday. I just stitched all of my punts together. I will be open to receive as much feed back as possible. Thank you.
How did you punt on the weekend?
Let us know below with a rating out of 10 and if there was anything you wish you did better. It's always good to reflect on the good, the bad and your standard and then move forward. If you want, you can send through footage in this thread or under punting analysis 🔬

I don’t have any footage of me punting this week, BUT the biggest take away of being part of the this community is that I finally understood what it means to use your hips. As a punter I feel like most people focus on killing the ball with how fast we swing our leg. Yet we forget that our leg has different hinges that all work together further unlocking potential in your strength. I feel like my punting game went from a 6/10 to a 8/10 this week. So PSA “USE YOUR HIPS!”
Ball contact
I tend to sometimes struggle to get consistent contact with my foot. Whether it’s not keeping my toe pointed or dropping the ball too early or too late. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it?

Amazing! I like his analogy of punching someone😂. But I get what he is trying to convey. Thank you so much man!

I would love to learn what to do when you are not at the field rather at home. How do you practice at home, on your couch, or when you have nothing to do.
