Howdy, everyone! 😍 One thing I have not seen people talking much about is networking in its truest form here on Skool. I built and sold a 6-figure bookkeeping company primarily through referrals from my weekly networking group for about 7 years. The motto was about giving AND receiving. ❤️‍🔥 We met with other members to learn about THEIR businesses so that we could also help THEM get clients. The other members were my sales force. When people I knew said they needed help with something, I nearly always could say, 'Oh, I know a guy/gal!" My kids thought that was hilarious when we'd go out in public and I'd see people I knew. "Mom, you know EVERYBODY!" 🤣 I'd love to see more of that happening in here as we're all here to grow our Skool communities. Without self-promoting as that's not the point of THIS group, what if there were more conversations in the comments asking about what we each do and what kind of Skool group member we're looking for? I started doing that, and I'll be keeping a spreadsheet of the connections. Ever watch the Tour de France and how they draft off each other in the pelaton - even if they're on different teams? We're more powerful and grow faster when we're working together. Would that be against the rules in here?? Or maybe there is already a free group for this idea sponsored by Skool? Food for thought! As members of Skool Community, we have a UNIQUE PROBLEM... Unlike other platforms, we actually have an ABUNDANCE of amazing people that want to connect. There's literally "too many" awesome people here for any one person to get to know them all... How can we make the most of this opportunity, without wasting it? If you spend any time here, you're going to get overwhelmed by comments and might not be able to respond to all of them all the time...(that's ok). Focus on ONE QUALITY connection at a time. Rather than trying to connect with too many people at once, find someone that you "click with." Be open to possibilities, and just try to find someone you connect with on a genuine, real, deep level... Make a new friend. Make a new valuable connect. The more genuine connections we have in Skool Community, the more valuable the community is. As each of us become known within our own groups and circles of collaboration, then more people will naturally tell other people about you... And you start to build a legendary presence... So the next time you've got 99+ notifications and are tempted to go respond with 100 GIFs that don't add any real value...take the time to make ONE REAL CONNECTION... And if you FOCUS on this ONE PERSON AT A TIME...before you know it, THOUSANDS of PEOPLE will start to notice you, because that's how it actually works here. We've got a platform that supports our growth. If we make real relationships, we become ICONS.

For the seasoned Skool users, what tips/hacks/tricks would you give someone who has never used Skool? They don’t want more overwhelm and have been burned on other platforms… They don’t want hundreds of notifications to have to sort through… They want simple & easy (which, imho, is the whole point of Skool). Give me your best advice!
