Hi Everyone, Here is my task 1: I am a senior product owner currently and plan to upskill myself in below areas considering the RnR needed for a great and successful product manager. Please share your experiences as well as to how to tackle conflicts at your workplace which i find really difficult as my nature is soft-spoken.

@Marc Quinn Thanks Marc. I will definitely try to take this approach in future. It's just that when we agree to one person's view once or twice, later they take us for granted and reach to conclusions without peer discussion.
FOP2.0 Week 1 Learning
Please share everything that you've learned in Module 1. Also review learnings from other students to make sure you are aware, and share your thoughts if you agree/disagree.

My learnings from Module 1 are: 1. Product management is all about finding balance between providing value to users and at the same time generating business value. 2. We need to be the bridge between our team which includes engineering managers, designers, others stakeholders and mainly with our users. It’s about making tough decisions, prioritizing the right features, and keeping the vision intact. 3. Communication, Product sense and Execution are the most critical skills needed for a great PM 4. We need to do identify the right skills needed as per our role and company and frequently assess our skills with the manager rating. 360 degree feedback is very important from our stakeholders to ensure alignment. 5. We need to work on our skill gaps identified as part of continuous improvement.

Hey there, And a warm welcome to our vibrant community. This is where you start the journey towards making your dreams a reality. This community is not just about product management. Instead, it is about sharing your aspirations, your ambitions, your goals. And then learning the things that will help you achieve the same goals. Help others who are in similar situations as you were by guiding them and sharing the lessons that you learned in your journey So without further ado, let's do this. Let's do it together. Let's meet our professional goals and help others meet theirs. A short intro to this community: You will find three major sections: Community: where you can post and read all the posts on all topics (or choose to filter the ones that are of most interest) Classroom: this is where you will find all the courses and challenges. You will automatically have access to all the FREE resources and the paid courses that you've already bought. Events: this is where you can find a calendar of all the upcoming (and past events) you can RSVP, get access to sign up links and recordings. With that said, enough about the community, let's know you a little bit more. Hello Everyone, I’m Anuradha Patil from Pune, and I currently serve as a Senior Product Owner at Amdocs. With over a decade of experience in the telco sector, I’ve had the opportunity to work with both B2C and B2B models, primarily collaborating with onsite Product Managers. I’m eager to transition into an offshore Product Manager role and am focused on enhancing my skills to become role-ready. I’m particularly interested in improving my interview and CV skills to advance in PM positions. I’m excited to connect with fellow Product Managers, learn from this dynamic community, and sharpen my skills to eventually step into a Product Manager or Product Management Manager role. Looking forward to growing and learning with all of you!
