Success Amplifier | Season One | Step #02
Okay, let's continue. First, make sure to watch the video and follow as described. 1. Create a demo reel that speaks directly to your desired client. 2. 4-5 tracks, not too long, again focusing on your target group 3. An attention-grabbing video could work 4. If you have credits, feel free to put them on there. It is always a good thing! 5. Regarding your bio, don't try to impress with tons of information. Try to grab attention! 6. Once you are done, share your reel in the comments so we can look at it! :) Check out Reelcrafter → HERE Want to achieve more? 👉 Book Your Free Strategy Call Now

@Dave Graham Looks amazing as well. You may want to include spacers in between some of the areas as some content seems to be a bit too compressed. The more space you leave in between (especially on a longer reel) the sections, the more they seem to "breathe" and get more attention.

@Gary Yoder Hey Gary, so far I like it. I would also use Reelcrafter and match it to the style of your video. Curious about more! :) PS: Yes, there is a bit of compression and aggressiveness but nothing that can be worked on :)
Introducing Cinematic Music
Heyho everyone, first of all, thanks so much for voting on the most recent post. What was it about? As I said, please don't overthink it, because we just wanted to check what category we would like to start first ... simply because we have to start somewhere and there will be all four! :) With this being said, I want to introduce Cinematic Music, a guest course by Ariel Yznardo. Ariel is a great and versatile music composer who, among other projects, works for Bleeding Fingers and Really Slow Motion. If someone understands romantic, epic, modern and classical styles of music, then it is him. Here is, how things will start rolling. The course is now open as early access and does NOT contain anything for now. Even the sections are incomplete but the first videos will roll out within the next couple of days. Ariel will deep dive into common structures, melody types, his approach to templates, arrangement and all the goodies you need to write Cinematic Music. Finally, he will jump into writing music for the four different styles as mentioned above - of course, as for the poll, he will start with "Epic." 🚀 Please be aware that this will not be a notation or sheet music course. All will happen in the piano roll and inside Cubase. As a thank you for early supporters we will make this course available for 69 USD and then, depending on the added content, gradually move up the price. In short, if you grab it fresh & hot and support us including a bit of patience, you will have a big advantage, because this course will also end somewhere around in the 179-249 USD region. Cinematic Music can already be ordered in the Classroom directly. No coupon or any external links needed. I also want to address something briefly. This is a guest course, so we can't make this accessible for free to program or pass owners. If you do the math, it wouldn't work out by instantly paying someone thousands of USD upfront to give around 70 people access to it. I can explain this a bit deeper if you want, but logically it wouldn't work out, especially if, at one point, there would be more program members and guest courses in the future.

@Dag Ove Vareberg I am not sure if it worked for you but I already mentioned in my first reply that I have set the default speed to 1 :) It works for me and that person in the article that @Gavin Nellist found probably don't know how to set it to the default playback speed. Mine was generally set to none, so that's why it keep it at probably 1.2

@Jeff Epstein I honestly can't trim down the issue if it's because 44,1 or 48Khz is the issue or any kind of codec or whatever. We are on it. I am about to try to fix it right now. I also only seems to happen on smart phones or probably tablets.
Why it is so important to keep the target industry in mind when sending demo reels ...
Hey guys, I did this little video to remind you again why the target industry is so important for your demo reel and your application processes. Please get over this mindset the more you show and put on your reel, the better it is to find work - it isn't. People have way less time to listen to your music than you think. Let me know if you have any question and do not hesitate to reach out!

@Selma Mariudottir Hey Selma, welcome to the family! :)
Do these changes make sense to you?
Hey everyone, here is what I have in mind about how things will develop from the beginning of December 2024. - Platinum and the Gold Membership will merge into one Audio Artist Rise Program. - Everybody who is currently a Platinum member will keep lifetime access as promised! I will always be here for you! - Everybody who is an existing Gold member (and who is signing up until 1st Dec 2024 for the Gold Membership) will get the opportunity to change your membership to lifetime status. Basically we will deduct the monthly fees from the final price of $3000. - The price FOR NEW MEMBERS will increase from $149 to $199 /month. There will also be an annual membership price plan available ($1990 /year) - The live call slots on Tuesday will be opened up for Gold members to four instead of two calls. - The livecall archive would open up for everyone. - No more lifetime membership option. - I am considering a 7 Day free trial at some point. - At a later stage, and depending on how quickly the Audio Artist Rise Program is growing, the price will finally increase to $249 /month or $2490 /year. Then, all six live calls slots will be available to everyone. Got questions, feedback, suggestions? I am listening 🤗 If you lock in NOW and before the end of December 2024, the current price of $149 /month and the lifetime option will stay and will NOT change. In fact, no price you got into the program will ever change. It is only and always only for new members. Interested in finally turning your passion into a thriving career? @Simon Turner Simon, I totally get your point about money, ... but my goal is to turn your $149 /month into your first $10k deal within a few months, so you really can't compare someone who is personally available six times a week for at least 60 mins to help you analyze your specific needs and roughly 600 videos on schooling material to a Netflix subscription that is there to entertain you. PS: I also thought about the rent to own option you mentioned, but here is one major thing that I observed and that also includes me when taking about coachings. The less you invest, the less are your efforts to achieve a goal. Besides that if I would work with 100 people, no matter how confident I am to get you gigs and work, how do I have control over their efforts and engagement to head out and sending emails and networking? I couldn't keep up a model like this for even a few weeks. Please do not forget that 99% of my time goes into this community and my program. I am not having a few millions sitting next to me in a safe that is paying my life :)
