Hey everyone, here is what I have in mind about how things will develop from the beginning of December 2024. - Platinum and the Gold Membership will merge into one Audio Artist Rise Program. - Everybody who is currently a Platinum member will keep lifetime access as promised! I will always be here for you! - Everybody who is an existing Gold member (and who is signing up until 1st Dec 2024 for the Gold Membership) will get the opportunity to change your membership to lifetime status. Basically we will deduct the monthly fees from the final price of $3000. - The price FOR NEW MEMBERS will increase from $149 to $199 /month. There will also be an annual membership price plan available ($1990 /year) - The live call slots on Tuesday will be opened up for Gold members to four instead of two calls. - The livecall archive would open up for everyone. - No more lifetime membership option. - I am considering a 7 Day free trial at some point. - At a later stage, and depending on how quickly the Audio Artist Rise Program is growing, the price will finally increase to $249 /month or $2490 /year. Then, all six live calls slots will be available to everyone. Got questions, feedback, suggestions? @Simon Turner Simon, I totally get your point about money, ... but my goal is to turn your $149 /month into your first $10k deal within a few months, so you really can't compare someone who is personally available six times a week for at least 60 mins to help you analyze your specific needs and roughly 600 videos on schooling material to a Netflix subscription that is there to entertain you. PS: I also thought about the rent to own option you mentioned, but here is one major thing that I observed and that also includes me when taking about coachings. The less you invest, the less are your efforts to achieve a goal. Besides that if I would work with 100 people, no matter how confident I am to get you gigs and work, how do I have control over their efforts and engagement to head out and sending emails and networking? I couldn't keep up a model like this for even a few weeks. Please do not forget that 99% of my time goes into this community and my program. I am not having a few millions sitting next to me in a safe that is paying my life :)

A new social network - new opportunities!
Hey guys, just quickly wanted to talk about Bluesky. There is a new social network that is currently trending like crazy and reached 15 million users just two days ago. Now, you may think that too many social networks aren't a good idea to be and that you are cool with just one or two of them already, ... and generally I agree, the less distractions, the better it is. However, keep in mind that social networks can always be split up into three simple categories: - 9:16 content - 16:9 content - text That's it. If you got a piece of 9:16 content below 60 secs, you can share it as: - Instagram Reel - YouTube Shorts video - TikTok post If you got a piece of text, you can share that to: - Facebook - Twitter/X - Bluesky - Threads - LinkedIn You get the idea. So whenever you have a piece of content, make sure to share it as on many platforms as possible because every little post is a new opportunity leading to potential new gigs, collaborations or business relationships. Now, we got Bluesky and it is basically, let's say, a welcome alternative to the Twitter, that, sadly, isn't Twitter anymore. Why should it matter in general? A fresh social network is a perfect platform to build a huge follower base, because the algorithms are new, meaning your content will automatically reach more and new people. During my time studying at the LACM in Los Angeles, one of my teachers, Linda Taylor said the following: Whenever you send out CDs (yes, back then this was the application medium of choice), put as much information about yourself as possible: Your name, phone number, pager, email address, postal address, everything! Now, today, 25 years later, the same applies to social networks. Be on as many as possible. The developer, the company, the client, the customer you may miss on Facebook or Instagram, may be around and open to your content on LinkedIn or TikTok ... and now, Bluesky :) Feel free to share your Bluesky Accounts here 👇 Here is mine: alexpfeffer.bsky.social

432 Htz
Hendrix tuned to it… The Beatles after they came back from India. i’ve used it from time to time. It’s an interesting tuning and want to know what you thought of the tuning if you have done it.

My personal opinion is that as a professional composer working in the industry, I can't change the standard tuning to anything else and to be honest, why should I? There may be other composers involved. If my scores would be recorded by other musicians or an orchestra, they would all have to retune, I couldn't use standard sample libs because I would have to pitch them down by 8Hz. Also there are a lot of myths and weird claims and facts about 432 Hz about it so I am leaving this link here: https://www.reuters.com/article/fact-check/debunking-social-media-claims-about-a432hz-and-a440hz-musical-pitches-idUSL1N2P915O/ There also have been experiments about tuning to 450 Hz which sounded sharper than 440 Hz. Obviously then everything tuned down to 432 Hz would appear to be warmer. If we would be used to 432 Hz there would be experiments tuning down to 425 Hz which then again sounds way warmer :)

A little PS. As a guitarist I want to point out that there is also no evidence of Hendrix tuning to 432 on purpose. His tracks fluctuate through all kinds of tunings and being mostly in a live situation it was pretty difficult to exactly tune to 440Hz all the time.
Volume & Sound Quality! 🎚️🔊
Hello everyone! For those of you working with game music, I'd love to hear your insights on an issue I’m debating with my husband, who’s also in the industry. He has a strong opinion that in-game music should sound great at both low and high volumes, no matter what. He insists that "the music should be so well-mixed that if it's ever played at high volume on big speakers (like at Gamecom conference), that it won’t hurt people's ears." Hmm 🧐 I thought this only applied to trailer music... Honestly, though, I often struggle to achieve that clean, ear-friendly mix when I crank up the volume on my speakers. The mix sounds perfectly balanced at mid-volume, even high volume in headphones, but as soon as I push the volume on speakers, it can sound unpolished or harsh. How do you handle this? Is my husband right, and should I be aiming for that kind of "conference-ready" sound? If so, it looks like I need to dig deeper into final mix techniques. But! some VSTs just sound harsh at high volumes, reducing Frqz only makes the sound tiny and poor. Any advice or tips would be super appreciated!

@Aleksandria Migova You know, there are always mixes or projects that we will not be satisfied with during our careers. Yes, it sounds a tiny bit boomy, there is an issue with the room that makes it a bit too much in the hall instead of the front and it's a bit dull, but that doesn't mean your mix is bad! After all, it was accepted, it works, I know many people that played the game and like the music = mark it off as experience and use that for upcoming work :) I also want to point out again that I hardly know any gamers that are blasting out a game soundtrack like crazy. It's ingame music or a maintheme but that doesn't mean that it is 24/7 running in stadions or other public festivals :)
