Wedding Photography and video
I’m getting married today. And this side hustle is a huge opportunity, especially in the right market. Wedding photographers can makes multiple thousands of dollars per job. And all you need is a camera, some really good poses for the couple, and some decent editing skills. This one is easy to start out doing off jobs with. Start small and as you get a reputation, get bigger jobs. You also have the advantage of technology and can show off your great shots through social media. Have you ever paid for a wedding photographer? What was the experience like?

Dog Sitting and Walking
Dog sitting and walking is a great side hustle to start out with. There is next to no barrier to entry, and people almost always have their own leashes and toys for you to use, so there is no upfront cost! Of course there are some unpleasant things like picking up poop or being constantly vigilant so the dogs don't run away or start causing problems elsewhere. When I was a teenager I had a neighbor with an inside pug and 2 outdoor golden retrievers. They would pay me $100 a day to stay at their house on random weekends throughout the year. I would pack up some clothes and my laptop and I would work on homework, play video games, or watch Unus Annus on Youtube. My only job was to entertain the pug inside and to let the dogs out of there kennel periodically. It was the dream job and I made a bunch of money to eat their food and watch Youtube. Obviously this isn't typical and most dog sitters won't be doing that. But the big idea to take away here, is that people will pay tons of money for their pets. Have you ever taken care of dogs? What kinds of things would you do with them?

Why bother running a business or side hustle?
There’s a bunch of reasons to run a business or side hustle. For many of us, it’s for money and growth. When you start a business and pour your heart into it, it changes you as a person. You get to see what you’re capable of. And what your weaknesses are… But with each success and failure you’re another step towards freedom, a greater skillset, and more confidence. Don’t give up. Don’t stop. And if you fail or fall. Get back up and keep going. Let’s get hustling!

What is Price Anchoring? Why should we use it?
Many business have a rule of 3 when it comes to their pricing. The reason is because people tend to choose the middle option when buying something, UNLESS the middle is closer to the top than the bottom. Price anchoring is when you make the "highest tier" option for your pricing fairly high. A "premium product" for example. Movie Theatres do this with popcorn. $3 small, $5.50 medium, $6.00 Large. (This is an example, not representative of all theaters obviously.) People will choose the large one most of the time. Pressure washing companies do it too. $175 standard washing, $275 Middle Basic, $495 Premium. Most people will buy the middle tier in this model. Your model depends on your business and who you are selling to.
