Apple Business Connect...
For anyone offering Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization services, it's time to pay attention to Apple Business Connect. While GBP has been essential for local search visibility, Apple Business Connect is quickly becoming a must-have for businesses looking to reach more customers, especially those using Apple Maps. Here’s why this matters: Default Navigation on iPhones: Apple Maps is the default navigation app on iPhones, and millions of people use it every day without a second thought. If your clients aren’t optimized for Apple Maps, they could be missing out on a huge chunk of potential customers. Apple’s Recent Focus on Business Connect: Apple is heavily investing in improving the reach and capabilities of Apple Business Connect. They’re making it easier for businesses to be discovered through Apple Maps and other Apple services. This makes it just as important as Google’s platform in the local search game. A Natural Add-On to GBP Services: If you’re already offering GBP setup and optimization, adding Apple Business Connect services is a logical next step. It’s an easy way to expand your offerings and help clients capture more visibility across both platforms.

@Sandy Alexander Firstly, thanks for the question Sandy. I use this in a couple of different ways! Let me explain, generally we handle all digital assets for our clients from web dev to SMMA, the GBP services we offer acts as a low entry service to help businesses get comfortable with “paying for this type of service” a social proof concept. As you’re aware there is still a lot of skepticism around our niche! We offer GBP audit and maintenance services and wave the initial “build out costs” ( only if required), depending on the client I usually frame the consult call around an hourly rate ( if they won’t commit to an ongoing monthly service fee. I typically charge $50 - $99 per hour with minimum of 3 hours upfront. In most cases this will translate into an agreed 26 week contract at $199 per month, per location. I keep the Apple Business Connect as added bonus after a few weeks into the contract ( build value with the client ) by doing it this way they the client sees this as getting 2 services but only paying for 1…. ( it’s a low maintenance add on ) generally extending the contract to an ongoing service, Over delivering keeps the client retention rate up. However I have used Apple business connect as a service to win clients if they are proving difficult to get over the line. As your aware there a lot of dodgy operators out there which sometimes proves difficult to convince clients that your legit. As a stand alone business I haven’t tried it! However I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. It’s not a service that is heavily promoted so it might be a good time to start just doing Apple business connect as a service and then upselling your GBP services. The sales approach I use is simple… Apple car play = Apple Maps business listings whilst your driving. I hope this helps, feel free to pick my brain with any more questions. @Randy Grabler

@Sandy Alexander You’re absolutely correct—our monthly Google Business Profile (GBP) SEO service is priced at $199/month, and we include Apple Maps optimization as a bonus. It’s something many business owners overlook, but as your experience highlights, it can be crucial for capturing customers who rely on iPhones and Apple Maps. Your friend’s situation perfectly demonstrates why this service matters. A surprising number of people depend on Apple Maps because it’s the default on iPhones, and businesses often neglect to ensure their information is accurate there. Offering this service not only makes you stand out but also provides an easy way to open conversations with business owners. By positioning Apple Maps optimization as part of your GBP services, you’re essentially solving a problem they didn’t realize they had—this can help you build trust and lead to upselling more comprehensive monthly SEO services. If you’d like, I can share some tips on how to frame this offering to business owners or even provide a script to pitch it effectively. Let me know!
