Blue light glasses
Howdy gents, What are people’s thoughts on blue light glasses for desk jobs? I got a pair that I use at night, but I see mixed opinions online about using them at my desk during work. What’s your thoughts?

There's good literature about not using any blue filtering lenses during the day, as we need full spectrum light during the day for eye health and circadian rhythm. Wearing blue filtering lenses during the day can impact your wakefulness and performance. What I've read on Pubmed and decided for myself is wearing yellow lens blue light filtering glasses (from Boncharge, formally Blublox) in the arvo or adjusting my devices to enable blue light filtering. And no light after 10 pm (including devices and overhead light), or I've got red lens blue, and green light blocking glasses from the brand Trudark. Which also filters out a significant amount of UV light as well. For light after 10 pm, I have two small salt lamps I turn on a dim low. This could be just me, but I find that low pink/orange light before bed is relaxing. Another interesting thing to add regarding light before bed. Is it's not just about blue light, but also the brightness of the light and the height of the light. I personally haven't researched this myself as I personally agree from self experiment, Dr Andrew Huberman talks about turning off as much light as possible once the sun has gone down, and to not use overhead light rather light below the knee. He mentioned this as the certain cells that communicate with the brain to stay awake, require light to be coming overhead and down into the eyes. I know that was a bit of a tangent to your original question, but hopefully it is valuable information 😀
