Could we create the ultimate EA?
There are probably enough great minds in this community, if we all worked together could we create the Ultimate EA? We could start by creating a poll of which type of system we could build, based on either a single strategy or perhaps even multiple strategies combined into one EA. It would be a great opportunity to learn on the go, and collaboratively work on something as a community that could be great! Thoughts?

Something good would be to work with risk management and optimizing the one metric you can control which is risk. If you can create a superior risk strategy then you could handle the times when new data presents or the difficulty with generalizing. One concept to explore would be normalizing data since you are working with a random stochastic process (time series) then making the stochastic process more normally distributed would allow for some cool data analysis which could help finding a more reliable signal.
The Investment Innovator EA (mql5 top listed) crashing
What do you think about the Signal of the Investment Innovator EA. The EA is among the highest rated EAs and the signal is in a really big drawdown right now: https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/1973157?source=Site+Profile+Seller Previously the seller had even more signals but they disappeared over time. Maybe they also did not go too well. This is a typical pattern I observed on mql5. Seller tend to put out new EAs with (temporary) good signals. Over time they increase the price of their product and when the signals start to crash they take the EAs off the market. What do you think? Comment below..

@Hezekiah Oyetunde this is assuming there is an actual edge associated with the "strategy" And not it the edge is known but if the edge becomes exploited. But there is typically no edge, not a robust one that can be quantified. That and what they think is an edge has an inability usually to optimize or generalize. So when new data presents they crash. Of course there is also a money management issue here that's expressed in the massive draw down but it's more likely that this EA never had an edge to begin with. Most don't.
