North 1500R front wing?
Hey guys, I’m looking at these black Friday deals and see a north 1500R front wing for sale. I wanted to use it to learn wing foiling. Would that wing work? I can currently kite foil, but I’ve never tried winging. Also, could I use it to surf behind the boat? What is this wing good for? I’m 80kg

Or I see the north MA1350, would that be a better choice than the 1500R?

I think the thing that helped the most was just time on the water. I remember jumping and not being able to think of anything while in the air and then with time I was able to think about where the Kite is what am I doing with my body and I don’t think that awareness comes from anything other than time, at least for me.

Front Roll
@Jake Kelsick finally got back out on the water today, and was able to practice your front roll technique tips. It worked like a charm, that is exactly the help that I needed. I was getting stuck halfway around and looking over the back shoulder was the key. Thanks so much!

Thinking about getting in to wing foiling
I never thought I would get to this point, but I am open to idea of getting in to winging. I weigh 80kg, have kite foiling experience, and want to ride in 10-15kts ish. I currently have a North MA1250 wing but know I will probably need something bigger; what do you recommend? I will be looking for a board how small can I go, is 78l too small? I know the bigger front wing with bigger board is best for learning but also want to limit how much gear I need to buy and upgrade to. Also, wing size, is a 5,6 or 7 for those lighter winds? Thanks in advance for all the help!

@Jake Kelsick thanks, all of this is super helpful! Is there a chance I can buy gear that also crosses over to prone surfing? Is that possible at 80kg?
